Kenji Alexander Koch’s Love for Eco Picks: A Perfect Blend of Sustainability and Sound

Kenji Alexander Koch’s Love for Eco Picks: A Perfect Blend of Sustainability and Sound

Kenji Alexander Koch, a talented German-Japanese guitarist and songwriter, recently shared his excitement about discovering Eco Picks, thanks to a recommendation from fellow musician Waxamilion. Known for his work with the band "ARKTIS," a post-hardcore/metalcore group from Hanover, Germany, Kenji has extensive experience writing and recording various music genres, including rap, lo-fi, R&B, and metal. His commitment to excellence in his craft is matched by his passion for sustainability.

Finding the Perfect Pick

Kenji remarked on how difficult it can be to find the ideal guitar pick, comparing it to a science. He typically alternates between picks of 0.8mm, 1mm, or even thicker, sharp 2.xmm Jazz variants, seeking the perfect balance between sound and feel. When Eco Picks caught his attention, it wasn’t just their functionality that intrigued him but the sustainability mindset behind the brand.

After giving the Eco Picks a try, Kenji posted a glowing review on social media, stating:
"Shout out to 380 Sound for the chance to try their eco-friendly picks! 🎸 Been loving the 1mm jazz variant — sounds great, feels even better. The best part? They’re made from 100% recycled plastic bottles. ♻️ It’s amazing how even the smallest things, like a guitar pick, can play a role in protecting the planet. Music has always been about expression, and now, with eco-friendly gear, it’s a way to express care for the planet too."

This eco-friendly approach resonated deeply with Kenji, who praised the picks for their unique top-end attack and how they feel in hand. “Srsly loving the picks so much!” he expressed, underscoring his genuine enthusiasm for the product.

Kenji’s love of Eco Picks demonstrates not only his focus on quality and sound but also his desire to make eco-friendly choices that align with his values as a musician. As he continues to blend genres and innovate in his music, Eco Picks have become an essential tool in his arsenal, providing him with the comfort, reliability, and sound he needs, while contributing to a more sustainable future.
