COTTO: Audio System Installation by Nice Company (Tokyo)
We had the pleasure of handling the audio system for COTTO, a café & restaurant located along Kotto-dori—often called “Antique Street”—in the Aoyama area of Tokyo.

Taguchi Factory Custom Speakers
For COTTO, we partnered with Taguchi Factory to build a set of custom speakers tailored to the space.
The result is a multi-faceted (polyhedral) speaker design that helps create a wider, more immersive sound field—while also making a strong visual statement. We also requested a larger build so the system can handle higher output when needed.

Upgrading Off-the-Shelf / Mass-Produced Speakers
TOA Outdoor Speakers (Modified)
To extend the in-store ambience outside—subtly, without overpowering the street—we selected TOA outdoor speakers and tuned them for the application.
We also modified the internal components to improve sound quality, so the outdoor playback feels more natural and consistent with the sound inside.

Nice Company Original Speaker Unit
N82-1Ω (Restroom Installation)
We installed Nice Company’s original speaker unit N82-1Ω in the restroom area.
One detail we’re especially proud of: to prevent the unit from touching the ceiling directly, we used a small NiCSo BUREEN as an isolator, creating a “floating” installation for cleaner performance and reduced vibration transfer.
